Up Before the Sun

I have often wondered why we get up so early. Me, because my body needs to limber up before I can start to do things, this is why I am doing this blog, something to do while my body is waking up. Getting old sucks, Arthritis, Tarsal Tunnel, Carpal Tunnel, Thyroid problems, High Blood Pressure.......besides my normal problems, these new ones the past couple of years have really brought me down. I have to keep going, I really want to be able to do things with my grandchildren. I really want to make soaps everyday (my body doesn't let me), I love to be around my chickens, and I love to be loved by my cats. Something lovely about being loved unconditionally by a child or an animal, different than your husband or grown children. Can't really put my finger on it, maybe because they are so dependent on you? Maybe or maybe not, I just love it though. I love the fact if you give love freely to something, most of the time, it loves you back, take a garden for instance. If you take the time and care to keep it weed free and watered, it gives you so much back, feeds you, sustains you, multiple more times than the effort that you put into it. Well, time to make the coffee and get tidied up a bit.....talk to you later.
